Hi, I’m Melinda.
I started my career in fashion sales at a time when the industry was evolving quickly and full of opportunity. Early on, I found my focus, connecting brands with the right retail partners and building strategies that drive real growth.
That vision became SLRsales Chicago. Named after my three daughters, SLR stands for strength, leadership, and resilience. Today, it operates as a strategic partner to the brands I represent, with a clear focus on building strong, lasting businesses.
I earned my degree in Retailing and Consumer Sciences from University of Arizona and later completed a marketing certification through Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management.
With over 15 years in fashion sales and consulting, I’ve built trusted relationships across major retailers, specialty boutiques, and key accounts. My approach is grounded in market insight, sharp strategy, and strong brand positioning.
I focus on helping women owned brands grow their wholesale presence, strengthen partnerships, and scale with intention.
