INDY is a women-led, affordable, fashion-forward eyewear brand based in Brooklyn, NY. Designer and founder, Indie McFarlane, who grew up in Scotland, moved to London at 17 to study photography. While there, she became interested in fashion styling and assisted celebrity stylists including MelOttenberg and Peter Aluaan, who worked with clients including Rhianna and Jude Law.  

Indie's passion for fashion, particularly with sunglasses and accessories, led Indie to launch INDY from her bedroom floor. INDY (a play on her name) quickly became well known for its vintage-inspired affordable eyewear with modern twists, including colorful transparent lenses, exaggerated shapes, and snappy wording on frames. The brand has been seen in Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Nylon, Vice, Popsugar, and WWD, and has been worn by celebs fans including Alicia Keys, BretmanRock, and more.
